The work of awareness begins with noticing the patterns playing out in the present moment - the habits, impulses, and reactions your nervous system runs on autopilot.
You’ll start to see how addictive urges or compulsive behaviours are less about willpower and more about the body’s attempt to self-regulate. You’ll uncover hidden contracts that keep your system locked in sympathetic overdrive.
Awareness also means recognising where comfort has become stagnation - the subtle pull of the freeze response. At this stage, awareness itself becomes the practice - creating the space to notice, name, and choose differently in real time.

I’m Alexander Weaver
I once believed being strong meant being unshaken - ignoring pain, holding down shame, wearing toughness like armour.
Control was safety. Achievement was worth more than rest. But that belief came at a cost: chronic burnout, hidden anxiety, a skin flaring red from stress, a heart barely listening to its own beat.

For years, I thought success meant always moving faster. I built a career as a creative director, founded businesses, and pushed myself into leadership roles that demanded everything. On the outside, it looked like I was thriving. Inside, I was burning out.

My nervous system was on constant alert. I was restless, anxious, disconnected - even when life seemed “good.” Losing my best friend only deepened the cracks, forcing me to see what I’d been avoiding: I was living on autopilot, not in truth.

So I chose differently. I stepped away from the noise, listened inward, and turned toward what felt alive. I spent years researching and practicing - studying the nervous system, somatic intelligence, ancient wisdom, and my own lived experience. Slowly, I built rituals that restored calm, rebuilt strength, and helped me feel present again. Out of that process, The Regulation Method™ was born.
